	David Dorn has been teaching watersports for over 28years, Accomplished in windsurfing, Surfing, SUP paddle boarding, and Kiteboarding. He is an Master windsurfing instructor trainer, and Examiner and Training Master for the International Kiteboarding Organization. David founded the Action Sports Maui training center 15years ago and has been at the helm ever since. David has had many years international teaching experience, and travels regularly to run instructor training certification courses and seminars, on the mainland and at various locations around the world.
	Suzie Dorn is the school manager, surf, SUP and windsurf coach, a certified IKO Kiteboarding Instructor. She enjoys travel and culture. Originally from Seal Beach California she is no stranger to the beach lifestyle. Suzie is founder of Kite Club Maui and runs many women's kiteboarding clinics, and children's windsurf camps and clinics. Suzie has specialty training in Teaching Kiteboarding to people with disabilities. Suzie is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Rick Dees, originally from San Diego, is a self proclaimed light wind master. Rick has a Master of leisure degree and has worked is child education. Rick is an expert surfer and accomplished kiteboarder, Rick has taught in San Diego and Texas. Since moving to Maui Rick has become a certified IKO level2 instructor. Rick does all level of surf and kite lessons. Rick's specialties include lessons for women and kids. Rick has specialty training in Teaching Kids to Kiteboard. Rick is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Mark Stevens is professional photographer, skier and accomplished kiteboarder. Mark learned kiteboarding locally and has been instructing full time with us for over 2years. Mark is an IKO level two certified kiteboarding instructor and teaches all levels of kiting from beginner to advanced ride along lessons. Mark has specialty training in Teaching Kids to Kiteboard. Mark is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Charles Edwards used to work aboard the cruise ship that we see docked at Kahului harbor. He learned to kite with us at ASM and worked his way up from being a regular rider. Since jumping ship he joined our team full time, and worked his way up from assistant instructor, then Level1, and now finally Charles has acquired his full IKO (Level2) instructor's license. Charles has specialty training in Teaching Kids to Kiteboard. Charles is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Nick Wilson aka "the kid" left his former career as an engineer/surveyor, to become a kiteboarding instructor, thinking that teaching kiteboarding would be easier than actually working for a living. Nick is a certified level2 IKO kiteboarding instructor, and occasional surfing instructor. Nick recently sailed his 25 foot sailing boat from California to Hawaii. Nick is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Clarissa Hempel, is a role model of the perfect product of our lesson program, formerly a student she went on to become an accomplished kiteboarder, and kiteboarding instructor. Originally from Brazil, Clarissa has a successful career as a pro kiter, and competes and travels for kiteboarding. When she is on Maui she teaches kiteboarding, mostly advanced lessons, private lessons & clinics.
	Travis French, and avid kiteboarder from the North West, and Hood river, is a level one IKO certified IKO Kiteboarding Instructor, and certified First Air CPR provider. Travis prefers wake-style riding and liquid Force kites.
	Matt "Scoops" Cooper, is a long time Kite instructor. Formerly working in retail and electronics he moved to Maui to fulfill the watersports dream lifestyle, balancing work and play. Matt became a certified IKO instructor twice, and he is an now an official IKO level2 certified Kiteboarding instructor. Matt likes to kiteboard on his days off, and is a serious video gamer. Matt also creates high-end home theatre and home electronics installations. Matt is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Dana Burianova, IKO Certified Kiteboarding Instructor, originally from Europe. She has travelled the world and lived in Florida for 10years where she learned to kite. Dani teaches in several languages including; German, Czech, Spanish and English. Dani is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Martin Verasstro is a long time windsurfing instructor who has taught at different locations around the world. He is also a certified IKO Kiteboarding instructor and he teaches standup SUP too. You can always find Martin in the water somewhere. Martin is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
	Woody is the newest member of our team, he is still a little green, but he is learning fast. Woody is a Certified IKO Assistant Kiteboarding Instructor, and is doing his IKO L1 Instructor training too. formerly a long time windsurfer. Woody is a certified CPR and First Aid Provider.
