LOCATIONS
There are two main locations where we teach,
Kanaha Beach behind the Kahului Airport on the north shore, and
Kihei on the South Shore. These two locations are about eight miles
apart with an 18 minute drive time.
When getting directions in Hawaii remember that "Mauka" means
towards the mountain, and "Makai" means towards the sea. For example: "I will be
waiting on the Mauka (mountain) side of the highway".
When driving on
Maui please remember "this aint the mainland", and try to drive
with aloha. Do not tailgate other drivers and drive with the traffic, do not
fight to overtake, because we all get there together in the end. Do not stop
traffic when sight seeing, pull over at the appropriate places and enjoy the
views. On the road to Hana you may want to pull over for the faster local
drivers who know the road. They will appreciate it a lot. |

Amala Place, Kahului HI 96732
Getting
to Kanaha Beach:
 Drive back to the Kahului Airport, go past the terminal, when the road
curves left, stay in the
 right lane, then turn right, at the " Rental
Car Return" sign. Drive all the way through until you reach the
"Stop" sign.
To go Kiteboarding, Turn LEFT at the stop sign, drive
along Amala Place, until you cross a small bridge, then turn right into
the dirt parking lot, with the low green fence. Meet at the large
Action Sports Maui van (with the flag).
or,
 To
go Windsurfing: Turn RIGHT at the Stop sign, drive along Alaho
Street, go all the way till you reach the "Dead End" signs.
Turn into the last parking lot, with the green metal sign that says
"Kanaha
Beach Park".
 Drive
all the way to the back of the lot, and look for the Action Sports Van.
Meet at the Van!

Waipuilani Road, Kihei HI 96753
Getting
to Waipuilani Park:
From the Airport, North shore or Lahaina: Drive south until you
get to "South Kihei Road". Drive South for two miles with the ocean on
your right. The first Road on the right is "Waipuilani road", turn right
on Waipuilani Road and you will see a parking area for about 20 cars and
a restroom with a sign that reads;
"Waipuilani Park".
Landmarks: At the corner of South Kihei Road and Waipuilani Road
is the "Maui Sunset" Condos. Turn toward the ocean.
 Coming
from Wailea, and South Kihei: Drive north along South Kihei Road
(Ocean on your left side) until you
reach the "McDonalds". Drive past the McDonalds , two streets and turn
left onto Waipuilani Road.
 Meet
at the Action Sports Van.
