Hello, my name is David Dorn. Thanks for visiting. I am the senior surfing instructor for Action Sports Maui. Formerly from Australia where I taught watersports for 15 years, I now live full time in Hawaii and teach watersports all year round. Maui is the best place that I have taught surfing. The waves have a smooth predictable power that can carry you along with the  minimum effort. Do not leave before taking a good look around.

I have lived on Maui, Hawaii for ten years and I am able to train everyday in the best conditions in the world. I love surfing uncrowded waves and surfing at some of the more social breaks too.

My instructors and I live for watersports, and love to share the experience with our guests. Just about anyone can try surfing and experience being one with the ocean waves.
